Intervention for political action workshop with Marlene McCarty. In order to encourage shoppers to reduce waste by reusing their shopping bags, 150 overprinted grocery bags were handed out in front of a Ralphs supermarket in Valencia, CA. This piece was included in the “Boroughs of Los Angeles” show at the William Grant Still Arts Center in Los Angeles in March 2006.
